<description>Robert - The downloadable Wizard requires Windows. The Treasury's &lt;a href="http://wwws.publicdebt.treas.gov/BC/SBCPrice" rel="nofollow"&gt;online equivalent&lt;/a&gt; works with Safari as well as with any other browser.

<description>Murray - Series A bonds were issued beginning on March 1, 1935 for not more than a few years. It's unlikely that's what you have.

Are you sure you put in the correct information when you looked up the value of your bond?

					<description>I have a $5,000 Savings Bond, Series A

When I checked on March 9 the value was $6458 and the interest rate was zero.

I checked again on May 15 and the value now is $6838 and the interest rate is 4.689%.

It is nice to know but would appreciate some comments to explain the higher the interest rate based upon what is happening all over.

Thank you so very much..
